Like the mirror art assembled from broken pieces — each piece is unique. The fractures are not flaws. It is precisely these differences that create the shimmer effect. They are the source of beauty.
Each tile is a portal — an invitation to slow down, to reflect, to remember what is beneth the surface. This is the wisdom the mirror has always held.
As a young girl, Jasmine would visit family in Iran. She remembers sitting in her grandparents' living room and looking up at a ceiling, alive with mirror-art, the fragments glittering like stars. That room felt like its own universe. A portal back to imagination.
That search for wonder never left. It became Mirraj.
In the 16th centry, during the Safavid dynasty, when costly European mirrors arrived in Iran and shattered in transit. Rather than discard the fragments, Persian artisans transformed them into geometric mosaics embedded in plaster — adorning the palaces and shrines with surfaces that fractured light into something luminous.
By the Qajar era, the craft had become a symbol of divine light and royal power, recognized today by UNESCO as an intangible cultural heritage of humanity.
A beautiful accident became an enduring art form.
A made-to-order collection of mirror tiles and objects — based on sacred geometry designs — each piece handcrafted with intention, weaving fragments of reclaimed mirror into luminous patterns that catch, scatter, and transform light.
Customizable in pattern, size, and color. Designed for walls, vanities, and architectural surfaces across residential, hospitality, and commercial interiors.
Mirraj is an energetic attuner of objects and spaces for modern mystics — transforming spaces into sanctuaries for aesthetic wellness.
Mirraj tiles incorporate fragments of reclaimed mirrors that are cut and then handset. Mirrors cannot be recycled through conventional systems in the US, so each fragment that would otherwise end up in landfill breathes new light, and becomes part of something luminous.
Made-to-order production means nothing is made until it is needed. No excess and intentional from the start.
